Heritage roses and gardens - La rose des prairies

Playing with water, shade and light, three gardens full of freshness. More than a thousand varieties of heritage, gallic, botanical and English roses, a beautiful collection of perennials, ornamental trees, fruit trees, oaks and three hundred year old box trees give this little corner of Combrailles the feeling to be in paradise.

The rose garden was designed and created in 2001. A path is dedicated to the collection owned by Empress Josephine at La Malmaison. The garden also offers a secret garden, a vegetable garden and a field where the collection continues. Two greenhouses host roses in containers during the winter. In summer, they enable the culture of a hundred or so varieties of heritage tomatoes.
